Indian women’s compound team wins silver at Archery World Cup Stage 4

The Indian women’s compound team of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Chikitha Taniparthi clinched the silver medal at the Archery World Cup Stage 4 in Madrid, Spain, today. The Indian trio went down 228-232 to Colombia in the final.
Meanwhile, in the women’s individual compound event, Teenage archer Prithika Pradeep produced a stunning turnaround to beat world No. 11 Hazal Burun of Turkiye 145-142, clinching her maiden World Cup bronze. With these results, India concluded its compound campaign with two medals, and they are in line for two more medals in the recurve category tomorrow.
