Manush and Diya became the first Indian mixed doubles pair to qualify for the WTT Finals 2025 in Hong Kong, marking a historic moment for Indian table tennis.

As per the latest WTT Series Finals Race rankings on Tuesday, the Shah–Chitale pair became the fifth mixed doubles team to confirm a spot at the year-end event, which will take place in Hong Kong, China, from December 10 to 14.

The ‘WTT Series Finals Race’ rankings at the end of the WTT Star Contender Muscat (November 17–22) will determine the seven pairs who automatically qualify for the WTT Finals. The eighth spot will be taken by a host wildcard pair.

The Indian pair, ranked eighth in the latest ITTF rankings, has had a string of standout performances across the season. Their title-winning run at WTT Contender Tunis in April—where the duo defeated Japan’s Miwa Harimoto and Sora Matsushima in the final—remains the biggest triumph.
