De Kock smashed seven sixes in his knock, while late cameos from Donovan Ferreira (30 off 16) and David Miller (20 off 12) powered SA to 213/4 in 20 overs. Pacer Arshdeep Singh had a night to forget, even bowling seven wides in one over. India's run chase never got going, as the hosts lost the wickets of Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma and captain Suryakumar Yadav inside the powerplay. Tilak Varma's 62 off 34 balls was the only shining light as India collapsed to 162 all out. As a result, Aiden Markram-led SA level the five-match T20I series 1-0.
